To become the definitive digital voice of combat sports globally

World Kombat Media is built for audiences who refuse to chase scattered feeds and rumor threads.

We spotlight major promotions and emerging scenes side by side: Kombat Taekwondo and Kun Khmer, Muay Thai kickboxing hybrids, MMA and boxing, regional circuits, and federation-driven stories worth your time.

Our north star is fairness to the martial arts—we cover fighters and organizations respectfully, prioritize facts over noise, and design the platform so partners and readers can navigate by discipline and region without friction.

Our Story

How World Kombat Media started

World Kombat Media was founded by Ronnie Liew, who envisioned a single home online where federations and promotions could coexist with the fans who cheer them on. He saw how easy it was for excellent tournaments and unheard-of gyms to disappear into algorithm silos—we decided to widen the stage instead.

Combat coverage has always leaned toward whichever sport dominates the billboard that week; we're here for the fuller picture—the styles that traveled continents, the rule sets that quietly shaped modern MMA, and the regions where the next generation is drilling right now.

We've been adding regions, deepening relationships with sanctioning bodies, and publishing more ringside perspective because the community asked for clearer context—not louder takes. Where we're headed is bigger reach with the same spine: disciplined reporting, unmistakable pride in martial arts heritage, and a site that sponsors can trust as much as readers do.

The Team

Ronnie Liew

Founder & CEO, World Kombat Media

Ronnie started World Kombat Media with a reporter's instincts and a fan's heart for the quieter stories behind the belts—visa runs, federation politics, gyms that rebuilt after floods, promoters who sleep in the venue the night before weigh-ins.

His background across combat sports media taught him that audiences don't want copy-paste press releases; they want context, respect for every style, and a platform that gives partners room to grow with us.

He's committed to elevating the global martial arts community through coverage that travels well, reads honestly, and leaves room for the next generation of athletes to see themselves represented.
